The Artist
This poem came to life after listening to a webinar about how, many artists are inspired by their own struggle to get noticed.
Artist
In the deep impenetrable silence, where all creativity begins,
A thought bursts forth an expression, as energy surges and spins.
Lying in wait for the moment, like lava that erupts from the ground,
Painting and sculpting the landscape, from nothing to dust, life is found.
The artist is fuelled by such moments, where struggle is grist for the mill,
Striving to follow the pathway that leads, to the top of the hill.
With vantage the view is astounding, at what can so earnestly be shared,
So others can feel in that moment, the emotional journey past fared.
